Monday, 10 January 2011Google has said that it will fix a bug in its Android mobile phone operating system, which sends texts messages to the wrong person.
The bug which was first reported about a year ago affects a small portion of Android phones, but users who have experience the bug have complained that text messages they sent have ended up being delivered to completely random people.
Some users have also complained that it has led to potentially embarrassing situations for instance texts intended for a loved one have ended up being delivered to to a co-worker or boss.
Google has investigated the issue and took a while to recreate the bug, but it now says that it has developed a fix and will be rolling out soon.
