Angry Birds for Android reports 2 million downloads
Tuesday, 19 October 2010The hit iPhone game Angry Birds has been available for Android mobile phones since last week and in just two days had been downloaded over two million times.
The game is currently available for free from the independent app store GetJar and is supported with in game advertising. A premium ad free version for Android is on its way shortly.
Angry Birds looks set to become one of the most successful apps across multiple devices, with seven million already sold through the iPhone app store, and with the Android version looking set to match that quite soon if the demand continues.
