Sony Ericsson W715 Review
Sony Ericsson W715
User Rating: This is a very tidy little phone; it’s attractive in a uniquely Sony Ericsson way, and the ideal size to fit comfortably in the palm of the hand. Another slide style handset, it is very aesthetically pleasing; however, it is not massively different from its predecessor the W705 In this phone it’s the GPS feature that’s been added, and it’s a welcome addition. This is a phone that prides itself primarily as a very good Walkman player that is simple and dependable. It has a rather simple 3.2 megapixel camera, that is starting to look a little outdated now, with bigger and better available, but it’s still good enough little camera. As for memory, 120mb in-built is pretty generous, and the potential to add an extra 4gb should allow for plenty of storage of those vital things we store on our phones.
This phone, as is becoming common now, has very good internet access, and quick data transfer, as well as being compatible with YouTube. So there is plenty to keep the average person entertained.
In conclusion, it is a good phone, but perhaps looking a tad jaded in terms of its features; there’s nothing that makes this phone stand out in any major way, especially considering its target price range. Despite that, it is still a good phone and the majority of people will be happy with it.
Summary:
- Good Points: Excellent Walkman.
- Bad Points: The camera’s not great in comparison to some of the handsets out there.
- Others to Consider: Nokia 6600 Slide, Samsung Steel, LG KC780.
- Free on Contract with: Seems to be exclusive to Vodafone.
