The Sony Ericsson Satio is another multimedia-rich entertainment phone with a 3.5 inch touchscreen in 16:9 widescreen format and an amazing 12.1 megapixel camera.

The phone looks good, it has a simple and clear style and is surprisingly lightweight even though its packed with features. There are no restrictions when it comes to using the large touchscreen which covers most of the phone as there is no physical keypad. This makes it easy to use, navigate and interact with but the touchscreen could be more responsive. A stylus is included. On the sides are quick access buttons for your pictures and films, volume controls and a camera shutter button.

As said the phone is packed with features most notably the easy to use camera with touch focus, face and smile detection and Xenon flash along with other settings. The quality of the pictures is remarkable for a phone and can be used for poster sized prints. High quality video can also be recorded and viewed with the 16:9 widescreen, making it ideal for watching movies.

Listening to music is also a strong feature on this phone with software, stereo bluetooth and FM radio. Adding to the communication and entertainment is 3D games, Youtube, Wifi, GPS with turn-by-turn navigation and a front-facing camera for video calls.

The Satio is more than just a phone, its a walk-man, a high quality video and stills camera, and a communications device making this ideal for taking high quality photos and for someone who wants all of the devices but wants the simplicity of just carrying one.
