Samsung U900 Soul Review
Samsung U900 Soul
User Rating: The Samsung U900 Soul has been around for a little while now, but it is still a very good slide phone, with the expected sleek attractiveness of a Samsung. With a sleek, somewhat minimalist, metallic appearance, it is an attractive phone and it’s slim too, yet, it is pretty different to most slide phones on the market.Firstly, much like the Motorola RAZR, it contains a flat keypad, that you’ll either love or hate, depending on your preferences. However, it is set aside by its touch sensitive navigation keys, which is a good concept, but could be quite annoying if you don’t understand, or if you have clumsier fingers, but it does make this phone somewhat more unique than a lot of slide phones available currently, and once you’ve adapted to it, it is actually a pretty good concept.
This phone has decent features too, the 5 megapixel camera is nice, not the best available, but good for a slide phone, and one so slim as well. The available music player can support most formats, and has decent sound quality too. The phone boasts good download speeds too of 7.2mbps, so overall it has most of what you’d want from a phone.
This really is a very good mid-range slide phone, it has all you really need in a modern phone, and it does what it does well, because it’s slim-line the battery will probably not be the best, but overall I would have to say that this is a very good phone.
Summary:
- Good Points: Decent camera, nice design, and pretty reliable.
- Bad Points: Battery life is quite poor, but not too much else.
- Others to Consider: Sony Ericsson W995, LG KC780, Nokia N96.
- Free on Contract with: Vodafone, O2, Orange, T-Mobile.
