Samsung C6625 Valencia Review
Samsung C6625 Valencia
User Rating: The C6625 Valencia is Samsung’s competitor in the phone/organiser market, aiming to compete with the likes of Blackberry, HTC and even Nokia now. It is a slide mechanism phone, as opposed to the touchscreen phones that are so synonymous with Samsung; as such, it is relatively unknown ground for Samsung. This phone comes with a QWERTY keyboard, allowing for easy use when typing out texts or emails, or for general surfing of the internet. This phone is somewhat bulky in appearance, and whilst it isn’t the heaviest phone on the market, at 109g it isn’t the lightest either; this is again a movement away from the usual sleek, smart, and attractive phones that Samsung are bringing out again and again.
This phone comes with a number of the usual expected features on any modern phone as well; it has a disappointing 2mp camera (disappointing by today’s competitive standards at least), especially since Samsung have another phone on the market with a 12mp camera. It has 100mb of built-in memory, but with a microSD memory card that can be upped to a healthy 8gb.
This phone isn’t quite the high-end stunning number we’ve come to expect from Samsung, but then it isn’t the kind of phone that Samsung normally make either. In the increasingly competitive phone/organiser market, this isn’t bad, but, in all honesty, it’s not the best either. If you want a Samsung, there are better phones available in their catalogue that could do an equally adequate job.
Summary:
- Good Points: It’s a Samsung, so it’s reliable, and it does the job.
- Bad Points: It has a disappointing camera, and it is a tad bulky.
- Others to Consider: BlackBerry Bold, Nokia E71.
- Free on Contract with: Orange & O2.
