The C5 looks great and stylish, with a metallic bevel and smooth aluminium backing. Being a standard sized 'candy bar' phone it fits well in the hand and has a good weight to it. The keypad is perfect for use as the buttons are well spaced out and of a good size. We would like to call them thumb sized buttons as they are just the right size for using with thumbs. The buttons are also slightly raised.

The phone is easy to use as with most Nokias of this style. The operating system will be familiar to those who have used a standard Nokia phone before, and for those who haven't, it doesn't take long to get used to. The navigation buttons are easy to use and help with moving through the phone with speed and ease.

The home screen is customisable and allows users to add shortcuts to contacts, email, calendar as well as camera, messages, clock, maps, chat and the Ovi store. However this can lead to the home screen becoming crowded.

There is access to the internet over 3G as there is not support for WiFi, it also comes with some social networking applications pre-loaded. It has a 3.2 megapixel camera with a small flash, and picture quality is about average for a small phone.

But one of the most handy features and one of our favourites of this phone is that it has GPS. With free turn by turn directions, something that is not usually found on a small budget handset.

Overall this is a good quality little phone from Nokia, and does what is expected of it and a little bit more. For those looking for an affordable easy to use phone, and with the added attraction of GPS, this phone should be considered.
