LG GD900 Crystal Review
LG GD900 Crystal
User Rating: LG breaks the mould with this phone, and set trends doing it; there is really only one word to describe the appearance of this phone, and that’s stunning. With the World’s first transparent keypad, this slide/touchscreen interface is amazing to look at.The transparent keypad has the look of glass but is just plastic, but it still feels strong and robust and it darn sure looks the business. In fact, the keypad, (which is in fact a touchpad) designed as it is, actually aids the simplicity of the phone, especially when using the phone.
The Crystal has an 8 megapixel camera, which is perhaps not as good as some of the other high-spec phones available, but it’s still a very good camera, and has most of the features you’d expect from a high-end camera phone nowadays. It has very good and very quick internet connection, so it’s not just a superficial phone.
It also has a music player, FM Radio, Bluetooth and all the other features that one would expect of a high range phone. As for memory, well there’s a very generous 1.5gb of in-built memory, and with the addition of a microSD memory card, that can easily be upped to 16gb, so it’s pretty standard in that sense. The battery life is pretty decent too, around average, but perhaps be prepared to charge more often if you’re making use of it a lot.
The Crystal actually competes pretty well with the other top range phones, and in its very unique appearance, it certainly seems to edge it in the attractiveness stakes. If you want a high range phone with a unique look to it, this is definitely the phone for you.
Summary:
- Good Points: Its unique appearance, and its brilliant phone.
- Bad Points: Not much to comment on as yet.
- Others to Consider: Samsung i8910 HD, Samsung Tocco Ultra S8300.
- Free on Contract with: As it’s brand new, there is no information as of yet.
