iPhone alarm bug strikes again

Monday, 28 March 2011

According to many Apple iPhone users in the UK, the iPhone has again suffered a bug with its alarm after the UK time changed from GMT to British Summer Time.

This is not the first time the iPhone has had a bug with its alarms, it happened at the beginning of the new year and also last year when changing from British Summer Time to GMT. Apple says it has fixed the issue, however it seems to have happened again.

This bug is not actually to do with the clock application which the alarm clock is part of, but rather to do with its calendar application and alarms set on events.

Users have been reporting that either the alarm goes off an hour early or does not go off at all.

Apple has not yet responded to these claims.

Let us know if you have experienced these problems.
